EEEWWWWW--The gross smell of SPAM

Mobile Handset DesignLine

It isn't enough that phones come in 'chocolate,' now they may smell like chocolate--or something much more icky.

A German syndicate announced last week that they patented a chip that can send scents over text and multimedia messages. I can see it now--everywhere, there will be 'smell tones' to download. Expecting to have around 100 scents available on the chips on the market by 2010, special phones will be required to take advantage of the smells--oops, scents.

I don't know about you, but sometimes life stinks now. Can you imagine standing in an elevator when someone whips out their cell phone and their spouse is sending info on what they just caught while fishing? Or, can you imagine what SPAM will smell like?

Please. Some days I think some people just have too much time on their hands.
